It's 4 am, and I'm dying OTL I was going to go to bed a hella lot earlier, but I just had to finish this OTL. I'm excited about this couple, simply because it's the first OCxCanon relationship I've felt pretty solid on for OP. I'll give the full break down here so yall can understand this crud.

Jessica, my female OC, lived on a small island taken by the Don Quixote family with her mother. Businesses all over the island were told to give over a majority of the ownership to the family, which also included the bar Jessica worked at. Not only this, but the bar was given to her by her father, and she was willing to protect it fiercely. She of course, only being of slightly above average skill of a civilian woman, was easily overpowered. In the process, her bar took a beating and there was plenty of damage. Corazon, seeing how passionate the woman was for her business, and hearing her claim that her father had given ownership to her, had a bit of a soft spot for the place. He came around the next day, offering money to Jessica for repairs, remaining mute as usual.
   
Without being able to tell her his intentions in words, Corazon made a bad impression on Jessica. She thought the gesture of generosity was a way to make her feel small, or buy her off. Feeling outraged, she kicked him in the face without thinking of the consequences. Suddenly realizing what she had done, she quickly asked him to leave and hoped that the Don Quixote family wouldn't come for her later. The next day, Corazon came back with money again, and the cycle repeated several times. Corazon's consistency helped Jessica to see his generosity, and instilled a small sense of trust in her. She accepted his kindness, and from then on - though her tone was not always friendly - Jessica would start conversation every time Corazon came around (even if he wouldn't respond).
 
Feeling herself becoming more curious about him, she would even ask him to walk with her when she assigned herself breaks. Jessica slowly began developing feelings for Corazon, and she encouraged him to write what he was thinking to her on bar napkins. Eventually she became so certain that she had developed a crush on him, that on one of their walks, she expressed her feelings as portrayed above.
   
On the outside, she was unshaken and even casual about the whole situation. On the inside, it wasn't too different, as she was always fairly confident and carefree, but she was concerned for his reaction, so she quickly turned away and continued walking immediately after. Though Corazon had started developing feelings for Jessica as well, her actions were a little confusing and intimidating. Things were a little awkward for a time, but it eventually turned into a laid-back romance. (And eventually, with extreme caution, Corazon began to speak to Jessica, and briefly explained a bit of his situation to her. She was still very ignorant of his ambitions within the family, but she knew enough to keep his ability to talk a secret.)
